IMPACT STORIES

In the short 4 and a half years since Jeff has been home, he has worked with over 4,000 individuals, spoken and lectured across the country to educators, administrators, communities, and those touched by our criminal justice system. Read the stories of just some of those who have been impacted by Jeff's work and commitment.

While traveling in Virginia I came across this veteran who looked like he could use a new coat. He accepted my vest and made my heart smile forever.

Meet Steven...
IMG_2396 (1).jpg

I met Steven on a Saturday night after dinner walking the streets of Philadelphia. Homeless and with a full belly all Steven really wanted was a guitar. A guitar? You see Steven was a sous-chef that lost everything to a drug addiction problem. After his release from treatment and finding himself homeless, what Steven really wanted was a replacement of his guitar that was stolen while he was at a shelter. It was a true blessing to be able to help. He touched my soul forever.

My good friends at Rivers Casino donated over 100 bags filled with essential items for the Looking Forward participants.

A trip to Edwins in Cleveland taught me what could be done with another chance.

(The best Bananas Foster ever!)

We were blessed with a donation of winter coats from Marshalls TJX and shared our good fortune with the men at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission!

Doing good work means being out on the street meeting people and sharing resources. There's no secret sauce, just hard work.
